Rooted in Faith & Spirituality
According to phycologists, persons with a connection to faith or spirituality are more easily able to express gratitude and emotions; experience compassion and empathy; develop self confidence, self esteem, and optimism, as well as strive to create a better life and community. By working with scholars on developing roots in faith and spirituality, each will develop more skills to elevate themselves illuminating a path through good times and bad.
Scholars will experience opportunities to learn about various religions, components of faith, and develop a plan to integrate it into their lives all at age appropriate and skill abilities.
